Leslie & Jason

I couldn't wait to share these cakes with you when we got the images from Christian Oth Studio! Leslie and Jason's wedding took place in July at a beautiful private property in Millbrook, NY. Their cakes were truly custom, with Leslie being vegan and Jason wanting a regular cake. So we made both! Can you tell which one is vegan and which one isn't? Delicate jasmine blossom branches wrapped around the cakes.

This rustic iced, square cake was inspired by a Bayahibe rose, the national flower of the Dominican Republic. The slices featured are gluten-free rum cake layered with passion-fruit curd and vanilla bean icing. The cake pairs nicely with Ron Barcelo rum.
